The province of Brescia is the largest in Lombardy; its 4.782 square
km make up a fifth of the region. Brescia has 200.000 inhabitants
and is the second city of the region after Milan.
Economically, the province of Brescia is one of the most important
in Italy: it's been famous since the 15th century for the arms production
and now is caracterized as one of the major producers in steel and
engineering industries.
Thanks to a dynamic business sector, four universities and trans-european
tourism, the city offers to visitors a wide selection of dance clubs,
bars and concerts. Brescia is also the custodian of a rich heritage
of art and history from prehistoric times to the modern day. and
offers to tourists museums, shows, exhibitions, fine cuisine, shopping,
nature and sport.
The city is located in the heart of the Po Valley, two steps away
from Lake Garda, Lake Iseo or Lake Idro and less than 90 minutes
from Milan, Bergamo, Verona, Parma, Cremona, Venice, Padua, Mantua,
Trento… thanks to the strategic position of the city you can
easily visit all northen Italy!
Brescia's surrounding areas are world famous for their fine wines,
cheese, salami and high cuisine.

The nearest airports are in Milan (Malpensa and Linate), Bergamo
(Orio al Serio), Verona Villafranca (Catullo) and Montichiari (D’Annunzio).
